How to Get Started:

Step 1: Complete Allied Health Enrollment Form

This form is intended for students who are interested in completing an Allied Health course at one of our HCC locations. Courses include: Certified Nurses Aide (CNA) - NUR201; Certified Medication Aide (CMA) - NUR202; CMA Certification Update - NUR203; Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) - BS 240; Home Health Aide (HHA) - NUR209

Step 2: Complete the HCC Online Application

This application is required for all new HCC students and students who have not attended HCC in the last 12 months.

Step 3: Select Program and Submit Required Documents from Checklist

All enrollment requirements must be completed before a student may be enrolled into a course. Students will be enrolled into the course in the order that their requirements were all submitted to the HCC Regional Staff.

Certified Nurse Aide (CNA)

6 credit hours = $1,260.00, includes first state testing fee. Tuition, Fees, Dates, and Times are subject to change. Tuition is covered by Excel in CTE (SB155) State Funding for high school juniors and seniors, starting the summer after sophomore year

Hybrid courses consist of 45 hours of online coursework & 45 hours in-person lab/clinical days. If more than 10 students are enroll in a class, the instructor will add additional clinical days to the course within the scheduled dates of the course. 

Tuition is covered by Excel in CTE State Funding for high school juniors and seniors, starting the summer after sophomore year until they graduate from high school if all requirements are met.

Clinicals may also include weekends.*

Certified Medication Aide (CMA)

5 credit hours - $1,240.00

Students must be 18 by the end of the course and before they can take the state CMA exam. Tuition is covered by Excel in CTE (SB155) State Funding for high school juniors and seniors, starting the summer after sophomore year until they graduate from high school. CMA hybrid courses consist of at least 50 hours of online coursework and 25 hours in person lab/clinical days. If there are more than 6 students in class, the instructor will add additional clinical days to the course within the scheduled dates of the course, or the course may be extended.
