91制片厂 is proud to announce that Coach Andrea Keller achieved her 200th collegiate volleyball win as head coach of the Scotties Friday, October 17, against Northeast Community College.
Keller鈥檚 first tenure as head coach at 91制片厂 spanned from 2004 to 2010, during which she compiled a 143-102 record. In 2010, she transitioned to roles as a math tutor and admissions representative at 91制片厂 to focus on her growing family while remaining involved with the College. In September 2023, Keller returned to the Scotties program as head coach, and since then has added a 58-28 record, bringing her total collegiate coaching wins to 200. Additionally, Keller coached the Doniphan West High School volleyball team from 2018-2023, earning 115 high school victories.
Keller鈥檚 connection to 91制片厂 runs deep. Recruited out of 91制片厂 High School by HCC legend and most winningest coach, Glenna Batchelder, Keller played as a setter for two years before transferring to Northwest Missouri State. She also coached Elwood High School while a student before returning to 91制片厂 as head coach in 2004.
Under Keller鈥檚 leadership, the Scotties have consistently achieved winning records. Except for her first year in 2004, a mid-season return in 2023 and the 2005 season, every team Keller has coached has finished with a winning record. During her first coaching stint, the 2010 Scotties were ranked among the top 20 teams nationally, and Keller was named Jayhawk East Coach of the Year three times. She currently ranks as the second-winningest coach in 91制片厂 volleyball history.
Keller prioritizes recruiting talented student-athletes from Kansas and the surrounding four-state area, emphasizing character, academics and athleticism. Her efforts have produced two NJCAA All-Americans, 29 NJCAA Academic All-Americans, 18 All-KJCAA honorees and 19 All-Region/District selections.
Athletic Director Jerre Cole praised Keller鈥檚 continued success, 鈥淚 can always count on Andrea to bring in solid, local players who can compete with any other program in the conference.鈥�
For Keller, building lasting relationships with her players is equally important. Many of her former players remain connected to the program, attending games and supporting the Scotties throughout their careers.
Coach Keller resides in 91制片厂 with her husband, Dallas, and their three children, Kya, Jhett and Tayla.
